Peppe, I increased my position by 25% this am at 26 3/8. I don't know however when I am going to get out. NN is a funny business. In this thread we have been singing the praises of ATM in the web&telco revolutionary expansion for the past 4 years some would say with little to show for it unless you were nimble enough to swing in and out with trades.

It now appears however that finally we are coming to were the pedal meets the metal, mainly because telcos, cable companies etc are finally forced to compete because of the rush to .com everything & governments seem reluctant to regulate ( ie " stop the competition, <g> ).

The big battle of course is AOL v. AT&T. It would seem to me that even if open access is granted you would be in even greater need of ATM switches to control traffic from the maddening crowd of gazillion ISPs that want to get on board.

NN has gone though a transition period with a new CEO. They have had several whisker burns and everybody is on their case so that I think
that must have caught their attention and put them on notice to execute.

I think it is just a question now as to when the crowd will start rolling into ATMs and when will they start to play follow the leader.

When that happens then I think NN will take off like brush fire. An example of that was ~2-3 years ago when it rushed from 30s to 67 in 1 quarter. So the upside potential is quite big IMHO with the downside being smaller.

At the same time this is quite an overvalued market by anyone's definition whereas NN is not based on fundamentals on their hold on key ATM technology. I think that ss long as NN moves up and prospects look good I will hold.

Will I sell at 30? Answer: I don't know. I reevaluate the situation on a daily basis. I promise however to post immediately here when I exit my position < VBG>: stay tuned.

Sorry for a long answer to a simple question,

TA

TA,

Assuming your were right in buying NN this week (I believe you got in at about
$26); Are you planning to sell NN when it hits $29 ?

I'm really curious, I'm a swing trader and I have gotten in and out of NN in the past.
I'm thinking of doing the same now.

TIA,

Peppino
