OHHHH NOOOOO. That explains it. Here in Hawaii and ipo (pron: eee-poe) is a gourd. They are used extensively in kahiko (ancient) hula as sort of a drum to keep the beat during the chant. So when Paulsen said he would have an ipo in 30 days he was talking about a gourd drum. The ipo has probably come and gone and we missed it. Shit. Hey, Aloha Mike....
