YES...........!!..gg....................I have noticed that sometimes out of the money calls can indicate Someone knows something.........if volume is strong...and no news......i take a wait and see...CTXS..( case in point)....a few years back...had tanked on rumors of a failed deal with MSFT....yet within a month of this news....opts that were 6 months out...and nearly 3X the current price were selling like hot cakes..........2-3 months after this was pointed out by a pal...Mr Softie ended up in bed with CTXS,,,,,,,the stock..and the Opts roared......Somebody new...BUT taking a shot based on open interest can cost you........I am no one to advise on opts.....my account is living proof.......ps...a much more exp player than I prefers writing calls...or If buying....Leaps at the money...or even Deep in the $ are preferred.....PPS...you can rite calls on your deep in the $ calls as a way to discount your outlaw.....limits the upside....seek out edamo on the DELL thread...he is the master....and is open to questions..........Good hunting.......Tim
