Speaking as a one woman assault force (on the English language- and my spelling sucks too)- I find the grammar thread too much like having my mom (the English professor) grading my posts. I hate to see that creep over here, for very selfish reasons, having to do with my sense of self respect. My mother could destroy me with a red pencil. And, oddly enough, my revisions never seemed to get any less red. It is, apparently, possible to make an almost unlimited number of mistakes abusing (I mean using) the English language. So please, I plead, let this be an oasis, a grammar free zone if you will, a tiny isle of insanely bad prose (and good too). [and would you believe grammar is not spelled "grammer"? What a shock that was.]
