Shares of North Face (NASDAQ:TNFI - news) rose $2 to $11.81 this morning, on speculation that the company might be acquired by a private investor Edward Rose. The maker of camping accessories had planned earlier to sell itself to a group of investors at $17 per share, but that group is currently re-evaluating that transaction.
