Mike, may I suggest waiting a few days. There's always a big drop in premium across all options over option expiration, and...

...there's a toutfest next week (7/21-7/22): platform99.com You don't want to mess with RMBS just yet with stuff like this on the menu:

"DRAM Technologies & Standards"

"Platform99 exposes essential details on both sides of the debate over new vs. existing DRAM standards. What is the real price and performance relationship between Rambus, PC133, DDR and Virtual Channel? How can or should DRAM be benchmarked? What is the system performance impact of improvements to bandwidth, or latency or both? What is the performance impact of power managed DRAM. What are the dynamics of power and performance for mobile platform DRAM?"

Note:

- RMBS is *not* attending.

- RMBS ally MU will be in attendence. Note also that per the standard RMBS contract, MU is muzzled from saying anything negative about RMBS technology. Plenty of opportunity for Edelstone et al to get a couple of sound bytes out of that for re-re-...-re-iteration of buy ratings.

- AMI and some other hardware companies will be there. They are potential users of RMBS memory, but are not muzzled as the chip makers themselves are.

Later next week might be the stuff.
