Wayne, A while back you took the time to do a comparison between PCQuotes depth of market and Canada Stockwatch. Being slower hurts, so we've done some tuning of our system. Specifically, we now send Market Depth as soon as it is received, which should result in your getting it from 1-3 seconds after the exchange releases it. All other data should arrive within 1-5 seconds of the exchange sending it. We have shortened the period we use for combining similar data and have shortened the period in use for forcing our sockets to send data. I was wondering if you would be able to take another look at CSW market depth next to PCQuotes and let us know if you can still detect a difference? BTW, some customers have mentioned that they felt that the proxy server employed by their cable or ADSL provider was slowing down their feed by caching data. This should not be the case. A caching proxy server should only cache web pages, and could result in getting an older web page, if that page had changed that day. Thanks, Gerry Rempel Stockwatch Java Team
