The Morgan Stanley technical analyst on CNBS, Phil Roth, is liking those energy and energy services companies. Of course, as a technical analyst, what does he know? <g> He made a nice point about how the government and press like to paint the numbers, saying that this morning's CPI headline referencing historically low fuel prices was ridiculous. (no kidding) He also feels that if we get another uptick in nat. gas prices (to accompany the rise in crude), oil and oil services will do quite well.
