Well, Janice, have a good day there.....this has definitely been an interesting experience for me. My statment of you "not knowing modems" was not intended to be nasty even though I understand it came out that way. I apologize. I was using this statemnt to highlight that something is "off" here from his statements that I was surprised you did not catch. By the way, the topic I was addressing was not just USR modems, but all modems which of course includes USR modems. Reread my posts. Don't let the "heat" of the converstaion get in your way from seeing what is the before you. I know how this can happen. Being a fellow human being, it has happened to me in the past too. :) Inverting two letters of a name reflect credability? I don't think so. I think you may now understand what I am talking about as far as this conversation went. My request to you is to try to be objective here. As I found many times in this business when getting called in to clean someonw else's mess up, people who look like they know what they are talking about many times do not.
