This is an excellent sign that bank regulators are being vigilant in overseeing banks that are not Y2K ready. This is the exception (the bank that is really poorly managed) that proves the rule (that the vast majority of financial institutions are well-prepared for Y2K). I find this news a relief, as a confirmation that the regulators are on the ball and not afraid to take real action.
