Johnson Controls Inc., announced a June '99 3 mos. EPS, $1.19 vs $0.90 and 9 mos. EPS, $3.10 vs $2.16 .
They have been announcing record profits and dividends for YEARS, and I mean YEARS!!! Good buy below $65 IMHO and has dipped down there a couple times recently.
Another gem is Leggett & Platt, a bedding company that has a similar earnings and dividend track record. Very aggressive in worldwide acquisitions right now.
