I agree that valuation hasn't been rational... not rational for quite some time. And it has paid off for investors to use an irrational investing approach (eg. valuation doesn't matter, P/E doesn't matter, buy the leaders, buy on momentum).

If as you say, this is the blow-off stage, then it would be wise for investors to approach investing in a rational manner again. Look at the P/E ratios, look at the growth prospects realistically and look at the market caps. Because one of these days, it will seem like overnight everything is down 50%. Market corrections are almost always steeper and swifter than the upward climbs and the big corrections always wipe out many investors and I don't want to hear the sad stories this time like I did back in October 1998 and several corrections before that.
