Dear JB@ or Paul or any other successful short term trader: I have been trading about three years using a variety of methods and am slightly ahead. I am very frustrated that I have not found a way to make money consistantly. Until seeing this thread, I have not found anyone who makes a living trading. There are plenty of people who are selling "magic black boxes" who say their system will make you money. They obviously have a conflict of interest. I would like to glean from your success stories as to how you do it. If you don't want to post your advice, I would appreciate an email at bajasurf@isat.com. The primary questions I have are. How do you screen quickly which stocks you will trade? How do you determine entry and exit points? Which online charting service provides the best tools for short term traders? Also, which brokerage firm do you prefer for trading?
