<<the market is very large and there will be room for a number of players.>>

I completely agree. I doubt anybody will dominate, like AMZN is doing in its space.

The importance of which VC firm is backing which eDrugstore comes from the ability of the VC firm to do alliances. So far, KP has delivered AMZN, and then apparently shepherded the PCS/RiteAid deal, although the latter deal did not involve one of Kleiner's children.

It remains to be seen whether the top tier VCs like Benchmark and Sequoia will deliver any megadeals for PLRX.

In light of where both companies are so far with their deals and alliances, and also considering Razzouk's experience at AOL, it just surprised me that you would FAVOR PlanetRx based on these criteria. That is what made me assume that you had not read the Fortune article on KPCB. Please pardon the arrogance implicit in that assumption.
In fact, I don't know you, but if you have read that, I am impressed, and it should be great to share ideas with you.

Best Regards,
Tom
