Robert I guess HP, Dell, Gateway, Packard Bell/NEC & AST are really screwed up for offering x2 modems with their PCs...Huh??! Micron is out there saving their customers from (imagined) problems. Where have you been man?...Locked in a closet?

I wonder why Staples, Office Depot, Price Costco, CompUSA, Fry's & on & on are selling those x2 modems? Oh my...they may be causing problems for their customers! Geez!! Get real.

And how in the hell does Micron Internet Service expect it's customers to take advanage of it's x2 speed offerings if the customers can't get x2 modems???

"I would be surprised if the unavailability of 2x modems will keep customers from purchasing their computers."

Well SURPRISE SURPRISE Robert!! I Just decided to skip the Micron brand for my up coming purchase.

" I think there will be quite a few disappointed people out there, that is if they are an intelligent enough of a user to notice the difference between 24K and 56K, or have a demanding application that would reveal the difference.

Robert you show gross stupidity with that statement, I suggest you go read the last few months posts on this thread...you'll find that you are the ONE who fits in the intelligent lacking area.
