Nobody seems to have any idea when the halt imposed by the NASDQ will be lifted. Presumably the regulators have a number of questions they want answers to, supported by documentation. The Vancouver Sun article raised lots of questions about the backgrounds of some of the larger DELGF shareholders:

Varianda Investment Trust- Liechtenstein
Bank Sarasin & cie- Zurich
VPB Finanz AG- Zurich
Each of the above were Arakis holders according to the article. The first entity mentioned bought 750,000 units @ $8.50 in November 1995 and paid a finders fee to Rene Simon. According to the article in the late 1960's Simon was associated with Commonwealth Group of Companies, a Vancouver firm whose president, Duncan Crux, was sent to jail for 7 years for fraud, false pretenses and theft. The article goes on to link Bank Sarasin with another Swiss national, Carlo Civelli, who was identified by the British government in 1994 as a possible money launderer. (He was never formally charged)

Does anyone on this thread know which independent lab performed the assays?
