I'm curious if you have glanced at the ClassPoint product, and if these are the types of features you are referring to. ClassPoint is designed for live teacher/student interaction with audio/video control given to the teacher, and a control panel for students to request the spot-light (raise their hand), chat, remote webbrowser control, and even quick pop-up quiz questions. I was impressed when I saw that they had layered these applications on top of their standard MeetingPoint server ...

They also include a mini class-builder that allows the teacher to put together the class schedule with outline and URLs. They also have control over attendance and who is in the class ... all through a browser.

It's a slick package ...
