Teflon, I agree and disagree with you on whether the case is significant. If the decision is clearly favorable to Bristol, it could open up a lot of lawsuits that MSft will have to waste resources fighting in court. If it is pro-MSFT, it will act as a deterant against "litigation lottery" type of lawsuits. Earnings will also be a big factor in the stock price (maybe it is the biggest). However, as more and more people expect big earnings numbers, one would consider it already factored into the price right now. Some people are already looking beyond earnings, IMHO. We should know the true state of affairs during Monday's trading--after the options expiration is over with. If the market keeps going up, MSFT might do pretty well (or even better) than the market---who knows.
