Keith - which feed depends on what you want to trade and how you want to trade, plus the flexibility of setup.

For me the satelite feed is the best because I like to take my system to the cottage in the summer. Unfortunately, BMI dropped the live Canadian feed and quotes but still send end of day data for Canadian. I'm not too actively trading my Canadian junk anymore so can get by with the free Internet stuff. If you want to trade only the futures contract, then I think BMI feed to Tradestation is the best, especially if you want to do intraday scalp trading. To do this you need the very best and all of the data, no delays, no Internet hangups. Now some people use Qcharts such as at the Intelligent Speculator site, and that is very good for the style of trading that they seem to do at that site.

I'm still very skeptical about the Internet feeds, getting all of the data, no interuptions for whatever reason. Tradestation gives you lots of programming ability to set up indicators and customizing your screens with lots of stuff to help you. I doubt whether other systems even come close. I worked a bit with the DBC signal into Tradestation 2000. I wasn't too impressed with TS2000, because they have gone backwards on some simple features I think.

Doesn't Metastack latest version do intraday tic and bar charts?
