Mike, the biggest risk I see on the HMO's is what I would call the
"home health care" risk. I just read the last few Pacificare Yahoo announcements which make it clear that Medicare is another area where the carriers are getting screwed. The government did not give a damn that they have about bankrupted the home health business. When they start hearing the complaints from seniors getting dropped by their HMO's, whom do you think they will blame - themselves or the greedy HMO's.

The press in my area also talks about HMO patient rights legislation -
translation, higher HMO costs.

I still think it is probably in the price you paid.
