Kevin, Think what you want but the article you posted resulted from the App Server tests. These are not DB tests. Who knows how large the databases were, probably small. zdnet.com Here are the graphs. The NT/IIS/MTS/SQL Server combination on Intel seemed to hold up well with regard to the number of users. zdnet.com Here is the story behind the numbers. zdnet.com What it seems to be saying to me is NT with IIS/MTS is catching up or surpassing Unix "web application" servers in the speed department for Web applications. MS still has to a ways to go in the reliably and other areas, but they are relentless. Tom
