Darrel, I gave your straightforward post undeserved short shrift.

<<I think PJ was closer to the truth than BC.>>, Circumstantial and common-sense. This was your practical gist.

Yes, and no. I think PJ's account of the incident differs from accurate mainly in details.

But what people keep trying and convicting BC on is that the incident is sexual harassment, and it isn't. It may be criminal conduct, or not - those charges have never been brought.

Sexual harassment is evidenced at work. And that part of PJ's story is not collaborated anywhere else. Neither the facts as brought to the trial, nor in the alternative news accounts of similar incidents.

A more realistic explanation for PJ's testimony regarding that charge is that she was a marginal employee. She was young, inexperienced in the workplace, and out of the loop as a common [as opposed to more wise, personal] secretary. She remained ignorant and uncomfortable with the ways of a modern office. Her marginal work and her marginal stability [as recounted previously: such incidents occur a lot to working American women, and are dealt with--but not PJ] created a need for an explanation and BC's incident was convenient and understandable.

No, I put no stock in BC taking actions against PJ. Nor do I put any stock in the idea that Congress is regulating dates. Her case for harassment is innocent and delusional. [And easily manipulated for others purposes.]
