Gersh:" TYX.X ticks & tocks "

...any luck on the question, "What is the Bond Price Index that the TYX.X - 30-Year Bond Yield Index is derived from, and how do you translate from 'yield' to 'price' and vice-versa ? "

Best I can figger, Gersh, is that the "price index" has gotta be the 3-months UST-30Y Futures from the bond pitz; still, I have no idea how to calculate " X/32'nds ticks change in price = Y percent tocks change in TYX.X index yield "

...and I'm not sure what the symbol is for the bond futures, Dude. There is a " TY99U " - izzat it ?

-- on another note --

What is the usual relationship of the JY99U - Japanese Yen Forex to our TYX.X Bondz ?

in other wordz...

I suspect the Yen:USD to like, you know man, go to hell {grin} I mean, I think BOJ's gonna sell Yen and buy USD or chocolate euros or something.

So like, you know - I got the TYX.X at a critical place here, man. It should sell off here ( but hey - something tells me it's not gonna do that -- something tells me it's headin' for the ~57.70 +/-.30 area, mebbe bouncing offa ~59.6525 )

BWDIK ? I'm no friggin' Bond Trader, Dude !

Shoot, I can't even figger out where the hell TYX.X comes from (^_^)
