The advantage is flexibility, Carl. At the end, taxes will be the same, but until then, I can move from one investment to another without tax implications. As example, I was able to cash out of a near 3 bagger in aol today, and put the money to work in Q with only a $15 reduction in investment capital. The best part is the state and federal reporting requirements are zero until I start withdrawing; I hate paperwork <g>.
