Doesn't Metastack latest version do intraday tic and bar charts I have the EOD version of Metastock. I have been using Qcharts and Canada Stockwatch for trading. I agree that having a reliable and accurate feed is crutial for trading. Qcharts has been flaky lately and they are going to lose me as a customer as soon as I get tradestation up and running with a good feed. CSW is in the dark ages compared to most U.S programs. I am giving up on Canadian stocks and have been focusing all my efforts on futures trading (mostly S&P). I am in the search for two things right now. 1.Clean historical tick data on the futures and indexes going back at least several years. In addition, I would love to get my hands on the continous S&P future contract tick data (and minis) going back numerous years for backtesting purposes. 2.Reliable and clean feed with no noticable delay. I have been reading the information from all the major suppliers and have been weighting the plus and minus of each one. It seems the BMI has a lot of happy customers on the net. Did you consider using cable instead of satelite feed? When using Tradestation do you have all the historical data on your harddrive and store the new feed data to disk or do you recieve all the data on the fly ala Qcharts? I just purchased Tradestation 2000....are you saying their last version of the program is better? I have no clue how people figured some of this stuff out before the internet came along.
