Wow!!!

"You're out of state
You're thrown in jail
Ya ain't got the bread to pay the bail
you're mom and pop comes up and sayz "honey where'd we fail you"
and then you screem "you drive me nervous"

(Alice off the killer disk :0)

(Gotta get a little psychotic reaction)

OK ..
TYX.X 30 year yield (interest rate)
US9U 30 year Sept. futures
TY9U 10 year Sept. futures

yen bond relationship:

carry trade, mostly.

borrow yen, convert to dollar, buy bonds. yen interest rates are one or 2 percent. US bond rates ~6. Pocket the 4% if the exchange rates stay the same. Now .. if the yen goes up in value you're screwed. If it goes down payday! Seems like, for the time being, the Japanese want the yen to go down or stay where it is.

Say, for instance, you borrow $1 million dollars worth of yen from the BOJ. Current rate of exchange is ~120 yen to the dollar. The yen is at the top of it's government sponsored trading range and is about to go down. You go out and buy a million dollars worth of 30 year bonds. Then the yen dropps to 135.... well you get the picture. BTW the simplest way to borrow the yen is to short yen futures.

Still looking for that symbol for the cash.

Here's something .. probably won't help much
publicdebt.treas.gov

This one seems to be a little more informative:
ustreas.gov

But still not to the mark yet ..

TYX.X at a critical place here, man. It should sell off here

OK .. TYX go down .. so bond go up .. good for stockz, seems like.

Still lookin' .. I'll find it.

INTC:

couple of weeks ago I put in one hell of a work week. Was thinkin' about one good option play .. INTC expiration!! cool .. buy calls goin in and puts goin out .. simple .. but then again ..
Instead went out and bought the Killer CD (looked real hard at the Love it to Death CD but thought "next time") and MS Visual Basic 6 .. left the rest in the bank .. I think I'm going to wait until I can do the sell ratchett. Wonder if I could do the LTCM trip .. "You sell these options (naked) for me and I'll keep the gains, OK?" Seemed to work for them:0)

gotta post this before this machine crashes..
