If any of you actually take serious consideration of the moronic postings of briefing.com, I feel very sorry for you. Lets correct a few things - 1. Whisper numbers are a figment of people's imagination. THERE ARE NO REAL WHISPER NUMBERS ON THE STREET!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone says, " well, they're supposed to do $.10, so lets hope they do $.13 - there, lets call that the 'whisper number!". Its complete BS. 2. Although a few of the supposed 'smart' analysts on the Street seem to think PMC has a 'slow' season, this is completely wrong. There is no seasonality to their biz. Occasionally orders get pushed out or pulled in due to their customers' win/loss ratios, or inventory management issues, but there is no set 'slow' season. 3. $73M in sales? What the hell are they talking about? No one on earth expected them to post a 40%+ sequential jump in sales! That figure undermines the entire credibility of the piece. As it was, an 18% sequential jump was easily above expectations and a great showing. Oh.. the pain - I just hate incompetence. Bulldozer
