So with the integration of Real into the Microsoft Media Player Microsoft is able to ask "Do you only want Real support, or do you want the best of both worlds and use our player and get Real support plus our rich set of Microsoft services?" This becomes a very attractive proposal ... one instead of two! Where did you get the idea that the real player would be integrated into WMP for Web-TV. I agree with you that this would be a very dangerous move if users thought they were using a microsoft product, but the news stories I read didn't say that. I thought they said that Real was developing new technology for the real player to work on web-tv...My assumption is this will definitely be a realplayer.... Anyone have any solid ideas what this player will look like? Scott, you have raised an issue which drums up thoughts very different than anything I thought this news was saying. I will call Real and let the thread know what they say.
