George, What are we to make of MPV? The initial news seemed quite good, number of carats a tonne, a 10 carat diamond. Had a one day run up. Today, the stocks got savaged. MPV 2.96, -44, GMH 85 -29. Something in particular that made people flee as fast as they could? The results are extremely encouraging, large stones frequency is excellent on a relative basis compared to some other NWT pipes. Looks like DeBeers modeling system understates grades and would appear to be predicting early on economices without going underground. The recent news should add impetus to the fact Mountain Province Mining will become a dominant diamond producer in the NWT. My buy was issued @ 2.00C last January, and it would seem it was a wise call. The recent pullback was a buying opportunity, it is pretty obvious to me that tonnage, grade, will meet market expectations. 5034 may show higher average value as some have alluded, given now a large stone frequency curve has appeared.
