("ATN-T;ATNAF-L") - San Antonio Drill Program Underway Atna Resources Ltd. and Energold Mining Ltd. are pleased to announce that the drill program on the San Antonio property, located in the Dominican Republic, commenced July 2nd, 1999. The third of five planned holes is nearing completion at around 280 meters, for a total of 580 meters drilled to date, Assay results from the minimum 5 hole diamond drill program, designed to follow-up the recent high grade volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) intersections from previous drilling, will be available in early August. Atna is earning a 60% interest in the San Antonio property from Energold Mining Ltd. by completing US$3.0 million in exploration and paying Energold US$300,000 in shares over a four year period.
