Hi Michael - thanks. Admittedly, I ve spent too little time to track this investment <SG> and I missed this entirely [now, come to think about it, it does sound similar.] I am a bit ambivalent about the possibility. OOH, it is possible to pick up some technologies of hi potentials, since biotech fundings have been dethroned by netmania - and thus many development stage companies may be willing to hitch with a cash cow company. OTOH, BTGC does not have as much free cash as the behemoths, it mustn't squander it away. Of course, if there is a nice fit or great synergy, it may worth a shot. On balance, I guess I am against it, not that I ve a say in the matter <g> best, Bosco
