I would be loading up on eBay at these prices also, except for ...

the Nasdaq being at a record high and heading into late July and August, traditionally one of its worst performing times of the year. I can't see eBay holding up in a (hopefully mild) Nasdaq slump.

Also, it troubles me that so many people seem to expect eBay's auction count (i.e., growth) to continue a steady rise, as if it should be completely unaffected by the time of the year. There simply isn't any history to go by as far as Net auctions are concerned, but common sense would certainly say that the summer will always be a leveling-off period for them. This adds up to me as unrealistic investor expectations, which doesn't help the share price either.

Right now I don't see any investor interest in any of the big Net stocks ... only day-traders moving them one way or the other.

IMO, It's all too much for eBay to surmount, no matter how under-valued it truly is at this point.

I am going to wait patiently until early autumn, with the intention of loading up big-time for a great run into the holiday season.

However, I hope that those of you buying now are right and that the returns come sooner. I still have a small position myself, so I really mean that.
