G. Moore--On the other hand, as my economist friends say, we know that CDMA shipments were 5.1382MM in calendar Q1, 1999 and less in calendar Q3, 1998. So, to meet 38MM for FYE 9/99, it will be necessary to ship perhaps 30MM CDMA handsets+ASICS total in the quarters ending in June and September. This averages 15MM per quarter or three times as many as were shipped in calendar Q1 of 1999. Since Q has so little competition from NOK and MOT right now, it is likely that Q has shipped 2 or 3 times as many phones+ASICS in calendar Q2 as it did in calendar Q1. This analysis leads to some rather obsenely high profit increases. You can fill in the blank--but it goes from $0.90 up to $1.20+
