Mr. W.T. David Murray, Chairman of Delicious Alternative Desserts Ltd. ("DAD"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ian F.T. Kennedy, Hons. B.Sc., P.Eng., as Chief Operating Officer and Director of the Corporation.
Ian F.T. Kennedy has an extensive career as an investment banker, venture capitalist and owner specializing in the oil and gas, high technology and industrial sectors. Last year Mr. Kennedy held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Teklogix International Inc., for fourteen months where he led a highly successful turnaround in Teklogix. Under his leadership Teklogix improved its profitability and cash flow and was among the top stock performers on the Toronto
Stock Exchange, in 1998.
Mr. Kennedy remains as Chairman of Helmsdale Financial Inc., a Toronto based investment bank, and a director of Teklogix and holds several directorships with both publicly traded and privately held companies.
