Ok, So I get home, grab a beer and turn on CNBC.
It's about 3:30pm EDT. I see that the market is down
for the day and continue to watch on whatever else
CNBC can say negative about Iomega. A few minutes into
my viewing, they are talking to some analyist who is
referring to momemtum stocks such as the "Iomegas and
the Pressteks" who are down for the day. Two minutes
later, they show the MOST ACTIVES and IOMG is #2...
up 1 7/8. A hint of surprise was in whoever's voice
that rattled off the active list.
So now, less than TWO mintues later, they talk the
the momentum stocks AGAIN and specifically mention Iomega
and that it is down for the day.
These guys are firggin bashing Iomega for having a down
day even though the graphic less than two minutes earlier
shows IOMG is up! I swear, these guys are so jealous that
they were sitting on the sidelines picking their Armani
suits out of their buttcracks while IOMG shot thru the
sky. I believe that when someone, such as WSJ, Barrons or
Wall Street Week bashes companies like Iomega without
proper research and spreading mistruths that they are pissed
they didn't get in on the action months earlier. So, they
take pencil to paper and write some BS down and with their
media power, drive the stock down so they can jump in and
buy.
I'm censoring CNBC out of my cable lineup.
I'm letting my WSJ subscribtion is running out.
Barron's will no longer be on my reading list.

Only Cabot and IBD are worth it.

my two cents.
