Well looks like I'm Ford Sept55 P-ed. :-(

Feel like the blackjack card counter who after a long day of taking the casinos money(now +35% YTD), can't resist dropping a few coins in the slots on the way out. (^_^)

The last time I ran with options right up to near expiration was in May when I did the wise thing. I had DD 60 Calls for months that I bot @1 5/8. With about 8 days to expiration and the stock @58 dead in the water I sold half @1 (-5/8). Then with 4 days left and mired at 58 7/8 I sold the remainder @1 3/4 (+1/8). The nextday the stock jumped 3 points on no news, the day after that(2 days to ex)another 4 point jump! Talk about $ left on the table. This was my introduction to the great rotation to cyclicals.

C'est la vie

Report from Semicon West via the lovely bride. AMAT and NVLS still the big and happy players. Little guys were hammered by Japan but now in recovery. Mostly business as usual this time.

Recently been having dreams of scratching my back on tall pine trees and fishing for salmon with my bare hands.
