I talked to Graham Taylor today and he gave me an update on how things are going at Nortran. Nothing earth shattering but it seems everything is going according to plan. The main things he discussed were: 1) The collaboration with Astra is going well. 2) They are pursuing other collaborations and we can expect a news release on one of these in the next few weeks. 3) The phase I clinical testing of the cough drug is going very well and is on target to be completed mid-August. Phase II should run from November to mid-Spring 2000 and Phase III will follow in the summer. He emphasized the fast clinical testing path for this drug, which has a market of over $1 billion. Comments anyone? Piper
