 NEWS FLASH!

To align ourselves with increasing regulatory concerns both here and abroad, we are pleased to announce the
addition of six new monitoring devices. Each model has been designed to target the growing needs for
reasonably priced, high quality loggers which are capable of performing a necessary monitoring and
documentation task. These devices, which have been developed under our popular COX TRACER® product
 line, are described as follows:

 1) Thermocouple TRACER®

The thermocouple TRACER® is designed with industry standard thermocouple plugs and sockets allowing the
user the flexibility of utilizing the many varieties of Type K thermocouple probes available.

 2) Autoclave COX TRACER®

With the emergence of regulatory issues in Europe that require monitoring of autoclaves in the medical
industry, the COX TRACER® autoclave logger has been targeted for this need by being specially designed to
withstand temperature and pressure (+150°C/+302°F at 4 bar pressure). This product is also a reasonably
priced alternative for expensive equipment required to monitor various other high-temperature applications.

 3) Low-Temperature 'Medical' TRACER®

The importance of temperature monitoring and documentation of critical medical components has led to the
creation of a 'Low-Temperature Logger' (Range: -100°C to +40°C/-148°F to +104°F). This model reliably
measures the storage and/or transport temperatures for critical items such as organs, blood products, etc.,
that must be held at very low temperatures.

 4) Pulse Count TRACER®

This logger model provides the capability to record pulse type signals that are typically generated by air speed
transducers, flow meters, energy meters, etc.

 5) Analog TRACER®

This logger is supplied with an analog interface cable for connection to current or voltage signals.

 6) Body Temperature Logger

Targeting the medical field, this logger is portable and can be used for round-the-clock monitoring and
displaying of a patient's current body temperature.

In addition to the above, prior to August 1, 1999, we will be releasing a new COX TRACER® software version
which allows for shorter logging intervals (as little as every five seconds) and provides greater time efficiency
 during downloading.

A new COX TRACER® brochure is in process and is due to be completed by September 1999.

We value and appreciate all of our customers' suggestions for product improvements and software
enhancements. Thank you for helping us to serve your needs and special applications.
