Participation in new issues and access to DLJ Research is available to DLJdirect investors who maintain a minimum of $100,000 in total account assets aggregated under the same DLJdirect account(s) ID.
To participate in new issues, your investment objectives must include speculation and you must have read the prospectus.
Your access to new issues may be limited if you or any of the account owners, or their immediate family* members, or members of their households that receive material support from the account owners, are:
an officer, director, general partner, employee or agent of DLJdirect or of any other broker/dealer, or a person associated with DLJdirect or with any other broker/dealer, or a member of the immediate family of any such person; a finder in respect to this public offering or a person acting in a fiduciary capacity to the managing underwriter, including, among others, attorneys, accountants and financial consultants, or a person receiving material support from any such person; a senior officer of a bank, savings and loan institution, insurance company, investment company, investment advisory firm or any other institutional type account (including, but not limited to, hedge funds, investment partnerships, investment corporations, or investment clubs), domestic or foreign, or a person receiving material support from any such person; in the securities department of, or an employee or other person who may influence or whose activities directly or indirectly involve or are related to the function of buying or selling securities for any bank, savings and loan institution, insurance company, investment company, investment advisory firm or other institutional type account, domestic or foreign, or a person receiving material support from any such person.
In addition, corporate, trust, pension and certain other non-natural person accounts may not be able to participate in new issues.
*The term "immediate family" shall include parents, mother-in-law or father-in-law, husband or wife, brothers or sisters, brothers-in-law or sisters-in-law, sons-in-law or daughters-in-law, and children.
