I could not find any restrictions here (from DLJdirect Website, IPO center):

Participation in new issues and access to DLJ Research is available to
DLJdirect investors who maintain a minimum of $100,000 in total account
assets aggregated under the same DLJdirect account(s) ID.

To participate in new issues, your investment objectives must include
speculation and you must have read the prospectus.

Your access to new issues may be limited if you or any of the account
owners, or their immediate family* members, or members of their households
that receive material support from the account owners, are:

an officer, director, general partner, employee or agent of DLJdirect or
of any other broker/dealer, or a person associated with DLJdirect or
with any other broker/dealer, or a member of the immediate family of
any such person;
a finder in respect to this public offering or a person acting in a fiduciary
capacity to the managing underwriter, including, among others,
attorneys, accountants and financial consultants, or a person receiving
material support from any such person;
a senior officer of a bank, savings and loan institution, insurance
company, investment company, investment advisory firm or any other
institutional type account (including, but not limited to, hedge funds,
investment partnerships, investment corporations, or investment clubs),
domestic or foreign, or a person receiving material support from any
such person;
in the securities department of, or an employee or other person who
may influence or whose activities directly or indirectly involve or are
related to the function of buying or selling securities for any bank,
savings and loan institution, insurance company, investment company,
investment advisory firm or other institutional type account, domestic or
foreign, or a person receiving material support from any such person.

In addition, corporate, trust, pension and certain other non-natural person
accounts may not be able to participate in new issues.

*The term "immediate family" shall include parents, mother-in-law or
father-in-law, husband or wife, brothers or sisters, brothers-in-law or
sisters-in-law, sons-in-law or daughters-in-law, and children. In addition, the
term shall include any person who receives material support, either directly or
indirectly.
