No matter what you read about sexual/romantic relationships on the job, a large percentage of people marry people they met at work. Or church. Or in their neighborhood. You would be able to know whether he is sneaking around on you, and vice versa. You would know how conscientious he is about household chores. You would know how socially adjusted he is. You would know whether he is gainfully employed. You'd know a lot about him fast.

But the potential downsides are definitely there, like what if it didn't work out and he was the jealous type. Or what if he started blabbing your personal life to the whole neighborhood.

If you do it, take it really, really slow. But it could work.
