I believe he refuted his own thesis. And one could easily say that it's the bulls who are irrational because they have no idea how bubbles form, are sustained or implode. At least rational investors understand that they have always happened throughout history. The bulls appear to believe they're no longer possible and that more and more money will simply continue to come into the market "because there's nowhere else for it to go."
