once saw Roberto take a single in right field, wheeled and fired to try to nail man on first going to third... the throw went into the upper deck over third base, incredible, standing ovation but no tipped cap... another time I saw Roberto throw two guys out at home in the same inning, neither throw hit the ground, each a frozen rope... Clemente was the greatest!!!!!!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Amen! Saw him field a single down the line going to his left, spin and shoot a guy down at third. No hop. I was 13.
