It would appear from the whisper number analysts believe the quarter was strong (.88 consensus vs. .92 whisper). I am quite sure certain business areas improved over the 1Q. With the new G6 mainframe I would expect shipments in that space to increase. Services are strong. And so it goes. I cant resist so my guess is .94 earnings and 12% revenue growth YOY. Just a guess. Cant be worse than the Morgan Stanley call in March. I still cant get over that pathetic attempt at analysis.
