edamo, after all the media hype, I find that Dell restating "we see no change in future of the PC" is new. One thing that is clear to me is that growth rate is slower, but it is a mathematical result rather than a change in the competitive position or performance of Dell.

If you want vision, I think a review of the slides from M. Dell's presentation should help. For tangible investor vision, I like to refer to Nashville. A deal big enough to make a liberal newspaper flood the streets with tears over perceived lost tax money. And then there is China and India.

Y2K is another chunk of sky that looks like it will miss us, but the Stephen King CNBS faces will no doubt come up with a better story. Makes investing in Dell look like the work of those blind with faith.
