It's hot enough outside already and then I look at the latest set of posts and yadda yadda yadda.

Anyway, our 4 year old white angora cat which we were given last fall is acting up because our house is too noisy what with two preschool boys and our golden retriever puppy and all. So the cat has decided to use the living room carpet as a litter box. Last night she crapped on the floor right next to the box. I was ready to thrash her, but I didn't. So we made an executive decision based on the fact that we're not going to be able to change the kids' behavior (I mean our kids aren't exactly acting up, they're just young boys for pete's sake and you can't tell a 5 year old and an 18 month old to keep it down because they're bothering the cat) and the dog isn't doing anything wrong. So we decided to try to give this beautiful cat away to a quieter home which is where she came from anyway and lo and behold we found someone without really looking and our cat will have a nice new home come Sunday.

Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of our moving into our new house. The mole is back in the back yard, but it isn't bothering me as much as it did last summer. As long as he keeps his ass out of the front yard.

I will say I enjoyed Coby's rendering. Self portrait, I take it.
