Shane,

I see your point with regard to LSI not hitting $100 this year. But then can you justify the valuations of a company such as Lucent? In my view it is outragous, but dont let that stop the stock going up!

I have a strong feeling once the earnings are out of the way we will see a period of extreme "correction" by as much as 20-25% (in the Nasdaq anyway), before going up again. Things have just gotten too high too fast. Even I as the mother of all optimists have started thinking about taking some profits (not in LSI but my other tech stocks), and admit that the market can not possibly be justified at these hefty valuations. Microsoft at $500 Billion, and Lucent at $200+ Billion?!! I may understand Microsoft's valuations (for example they just raised their customer support fee from $90 per call, to $300 per call, and they have no shame in doing it either!). But Lucent at $200+ Billion is a bit (actually a lot) to digest (in my humble opinion of course)!

Regards,
