He Keeps Selling Papers & Pencils Despite Wounds

BUENOS AIRES (Rooters) - A native man selling newspapers in
Argentina was shot in the chest and leg by a thief but kept working for 10
hours before realizing he had been wounded, police said Thursday.

Nasty Nathanc was shot twice with a .22 caliber gun while
fighting off a man who tried to steal his home-made wagon in the Argentine city of La
Plata, 30 miles (50 km) south of the capital Buenos Aires, Wednesday.

Feeling no pain, Nasty N decided his assailant had fired only
blanks. His thick winter coat hid the blood.

He kept selling newspapers & pencils for 10 hours before the wounds began to hurt.
Surgeons removed the bullets from his body and he was listed in good
condition at the local vet's.

A man was arrested a few hours later for the attack.
DSGumby will appear in court on Monday.

As for his inability to feel the pain of bullet wounds, Nasty Nathanc was quoted as saying "you thee...everdubby ought to drink as much TBird as they can.. it thilly not to... I didn't feel a t'ing... who am I? you say....."
