Fair enough. IBM does carry a big price tag (that's why I use options for IBM). However, it has an added advantage in that it does serve as a market proxy. I won't pursue the point. However, I strongly urge you NOT to pick a $4 NASDAQ stock where the spread (when the MMs are feeling generous) is going to be 1/4 point. You can do great TA and pick a buy point, but it will be a buy point no one will be able to execute, especially if the issue is thinly traded.
