trader14U, Flodyie, and other "ZSUN-8"…
As evidenced by the PMs you've received from me, you'll know I completely support your endeavours regarding this suit which I believe is unwarranted and without merit. ZSUN does indeed have many questionable aspects which you rightly point out.
However, I think the criticisms of Steve Rogers, personally, are equally unwarranted and without merit. The suggestion that Steve was hyping ZSUN doesn't hold water, as his posts here on SI demonstrate. I believe he's just an employee who made some helpful posts, without touting or "scamming". They were information oriented, absent of the hype which is often seen, if you look at it honestly, in posts of otheres. Compare and contrast Goelo's posts to Steve's, and I think the difference is readily apparent. Steve's full record here, as far as I can see:
#reply-8376398 #reply-8444249 Steve simply provides some links to reading material, expressing no opinion one way or the other
#reply-8527566 #reply-8524467 #reply-8554017 Here, Steve trys to help a guy who was apparently inundated with some over-zealous IR hype. These are fairly balanced and neutral.
#reply-8484139 Steve fairly states that he's a non-IR employee, and is simply trying to bring focus to whether there are scam issues or not. There's no hype here. He's just trying to understand the poster's concerns more clearly.
#reply-8510655 Once again, no hype or touting as we've seen so often from others on various SI boards. He, in fact, correctly admits some product shortcomings. Refereneces to future plans are descriptive without being excessive in the manner that hypesters so often use. It's a balanced post. He's not selling stock here, and nowhere else in his posts either.
#reply-8558337 Here, he concedes that he's leaving the board. Again, no hype, no touting. In fact, the context (if you follow the reply chain) is Goelo's post implying the legal stuff, with which everybody is now familiar. It appears that Steve rightly saw a need to "get out of the way", as this is not of his own doing.
As you very well know, I hate hypsters and touts as much as you. However, like anyone else here, Steve's a guy with a job, and it's not uncommon for employees to post on company boards. What is uncommon is that he indeed had the wisdom to be straightforward, free of hyperbole in the above record, devoid of the "going to the moon" BS that we often see from others. There was no "stock selling". Persecute Goelo if you wish—he's a hyping scumbag. But Steve wasn't a part of that, and dragging him through mud is wrong, imo. If you look at the rest of his record anyway, most of his posting time is on non-stock threads. He's not a 'hypster' as some of the recent posts imply. You know the 'amigos', 'tokyos', 'big dogs' of the site by now. It's plain to see that you should give this guy a break.
Carry on against the suit itself which was unfairly brought by the company and associated execs. Leave the innocent bystanders out of it. You have my continued and full-fledged support.
