Well, taking into account the massive debt they're carrying (and cleverly letting the public pay for through equity dilution) that's sort of a loaded question.

But I will admit that Amazon has FAR more going for it fundamentally than 95% of the internut stocks out there, which are nothing more than a biz plan, a prayer, and an IPO. I'd put Amazon at 80% hype/hope and 20% fundamentals. Their fundamentals are fatally flawed by a hopeless inability to produce a profit, and the market cap is 20x higher than it would be in a rational market, but at least they have SOME fundamentals to point to.
